Inn In The Park sits on Pinewood Road in Branksome Park, among the leafy streets between Westbourne and Sandbanks, a short walk from the beach and chine at Branksome. It works as three things at once: a proper local pub, an all-day dining room, and a small inn with five en-suite rooms, a handy way to combine a night on this stretch of coast with a meal and a pint, without booking a full hotel.
Food and drink
The kitchen covers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, with a dedicated Sunday menu, a sandwich menu and a children's menu for families. Produce is sourced locally where possible, and full allergen information is available on request for guests managing dietary needs. Coffee and breakfast start at 10am, food service runs across lunch and dinner sittings, and the bar keeps pouring until 11pm.
Monday night jazz
The pub's best-known fixture is its Monday evening jazz, running 8–10pm with a different local act most weeks, past nights have brought saxophone trios, guitar-led groups and singers with roots in bands like The Puppini Sisters. Regulars can ask for a table near the music or somewhere quieter when booking, and it's worth reserving ahead if you want a particular spot.
Rooms
Upstairs, five en-suite rooms range from Standard Double to Superior and Deluxe, each with a flat-screen TV and ironing facilities, with breakfast included. Standard Doubles allow one dog per room for a small extra charge; Superior and Deluxe rooms are dog-free.
